Program Structure
Fellows participate in an intense training program that offers substantial and diversified experience in integrative medicine. Each Monday or Wednesday for one year, the Fellows at St. Vincent's rotate between the Rehabilitation and Internal Medicine Departments’ inpatient and outpatient units to maximize their exposure and training, thereby gaining practical, hospital experience.

Fellows treat patients with acupuncture under a training supervisor and receive didactic training to complement and support their clinical experience. In addition, the Fellows participate in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine's Patient Evaluation Meetings. These meetings are department-wide, and the Fellows' participation demonstrates the 'intimate' integration of the Fellowship program.
